The Fae of Roanoke

Great news, Roanoke peeps! I, your fearless reporter girl, Valerie Hunt, have managed to get the skinny on fairies and other fae living on Roanoke Island.

The Floating Island of Roanoke

As the floating island of Roanoke traveled around the world, it picked up fairies and other fae from all over the globe. Some have stayed and made the island their home. These include friendly and or at least not hostile beings that are allowed to live inside Roanoke Academy’s wards—including the domestic fae who do the cleaning and laundry in the dorms and some of the cooking—and hostile creatures that have been driven outside the campus.

Brownies – cook
Bean-Tighe – laundry
Bwbacks turban and fur loincloth – clean dorms
Kofewalt (spirit of single room)
Domovoi – Ye Old Alchemy Shoppe and tunnels under Roanoke Hall
Fenoderee – Menagerie
Silkies – Scottish female spirits who clean or cause messes.
