Welcome back, Roanoke Glass Peeps!
Your intrepid reporter, Valerie Hunt, here.
Did you know that Roanoke Academy for the Sorcerous Arts has a website?
That’s right, peeps! Over Yule Break, my friend Wally Wren, webmaster extraordinaire, and I designed a website for the school.
True, the Wise will never see it, and the Unwary will think it is fiction, but for the few in-the-know, such as you and me, I feel it could be a help. After all, if we can’t find a thing when we search the web, it doesn’t exist, am I right? Right.
So, without further ado:
Here we see the opening page of the website. Scroll down and you can see my and Wally’s names at the bottom.
Other features include:
Student Life — Clubs and more
And much more!
Check out our work for more behind the scenes glimpses of the World of the Wise’s Number One School of Sorcery!
Or you can join the Roanoke Academy for the Sorcerous Arts on Facebook.
Finally, if you are new to the Glass, you might want to check out The Books of Unexpected Enlightenment and find out what all the excitement is about!
The Unexpected Enlightenment of Rachel Griffin
Roanoke Academy for the Sorcerous Arts – A magic school like no other!
On her first day of school, Rachel Griffin discovers her perfect memory allows her to see through the spell sorcerers use to hide their secrets. Very soon, she discovers that there is a far-vaster secret world hiding from the Wise in precisely the same manner that the magical folk hide from the mundane folk.
When someone tries to kill a fellow student, she investigates. Rushing forward where others fear to tread, Rachel bravely faces wraiths, embarrassing magical pranks, mysterious older boys, a Raven that brings the doom of worlds, and at least one fire-breathing teacher.
Described by fans as: "Lovecraft meets Narnia at Hogwarts", The Unexpected Enlightenment of Rachel Griffin is a tale of wonder and danger, romance and heartbreak, and, most of all, of magic and of a girl who refuses to be daunted.
Curiosity may kill a cat, but nothing stops Rachel Griffin!
